Dutch Honey Syrup

Jen gave me this delicious caramel syrup.  It is amazing paired with French toast :).

1/2 cup butter
1 cup Karo syrup
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup cream

Heat until thickens a little.

Special Syrup

1/2 cup buttermilk (If no buttermilk - 1/2 cup milk to 1.5 tsp lemon juice(or vinegar))
1 cube butter
1 cup sugar

Combine above ingredients, bring to a boil.  Once boiled, remove from heat and add:

1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda

Stir and serve.
